The Reporter estimates about 2½ hours each way from Century Village. Allow time for the drive, the Visitor Center and a lunch stop at the Blue Palmetto Café or a picnic.

The incline to the tower is paved and most paths are mulched. Check the accessibility guidance for wheelchair and first-come mobility-cart availability.
Add the historic house if you like
El Retiro is the estate on the grounds. Its tour is a separate ticket. Check availability before building your day around it.
