WPRF.
The recreation
side of Village life.
West Palm Recreational Facilities is a separate organization serving Century Village West Palm Beach. Its recreation role connects it closely to residents, UCO, and the individual condominium associations.
Recreation facilities, programs, and IDs.
UCO’s official resource page identifies WPRF, Inc. as the manager of recreational facilities, including pools, classes, and theater, as well as resident ID cards. It directs those questions to WPRF at the Main Clubhouse.
Century Village is the community—not a single office.
“Century Village” describes the place residents call home. It is not one organization that handles every building, service, and activity. WPRF has its own recreation responsibilities, staff, procedures, and facility rules.
Residents encounter WPRF through IDs, programs, facility access, and recreation-related accounts. That makes it closely connected to Village life, while remaining distinct from UCO and your condominium association.
Do not assume your individual association owns every recreation facility you may use. The community’s recreation arrangements involve lease and related agreements. For a particular unit, obtain the applicable documents and a clear explanation of the current charges and use rights.
Management, ownership, and use rights are different questions. This page explains service roles; it does not identify every property-owning entity or interpret a particular lease. Ask for the governing documents when those details matter.
Different responsibilities, connected work.
UCO is the community organization that addresses common interests and provides services such as gate passes and barcodes. WPRF handles recreation. The two connect through community communications, resident-service coordination, and the community’s contractual arrangements.
For example, UCO publishes WPRF contact information and theater resources; WPRF supplies the recreation IDs that UCO asks residents to bring for barcode service. The same resident may need both organizations, for different steps.
UCO’s resident-representation and community-service role does not mean its office makes every WPRF facility decision. Likewise, WPRF is not your condominium board. For the scope of authority under the recreation lease or related agreements, consult the actual documents and current guidance.
| Question | Start here |
|---|---|
| Pool access, class, theater, or recreation ID | WPRF / Main Clubhouse staff. |
| Vehicle barcode, gate pass, Village bus information | UCO. |
| Building leak, association rules, assessments, or unit approval | Your association board or property manager. |
| Unclear community or recreation charge | Ask the office identified on the statement; request a breakdown and the applicable agreement. |
Ask for a clear breakdown of charges.
An advertised “maintenance” amount may not explain all association and recreation-related obligations. Ask which charges belong to the association, which are collected or administered through another office, and which services are optional.
For a WPRF account question, contact WPRF directly. For an association assessment, contact the association or manager. A familiar community name on a bill does not make all charges interchangeable.
Before purchasing or renting, confirm recreation eligibility and credentials separately from association approval. Permission to occupy a unit, entry through a gate, and permission to use a recreational facility are distinct arrangements.
Help the right team resolve your question.
For a facility issue, give WPRF the location, date, activity, and a clear description. Ask which staff member handles it and retain any reference or follow-up details. For a broader community concern, ask UCO about the appropriate representative or meeting.
Associations can help new residents by sharing current contacts and distinguishing recreation rules from their own building rules. Cooperation works best when each organization’s responsibility is clear.
The right information. The right office. A better community experience.
