Different guides, connected community

Which packet answers which question?

A useful way to start.
Question Starting point
Community services, gate access, barcodes, and Village information UCO’s packet and current official website.
Clubhouse, recreation, theater, and ID arrangements WPRF’s packet and recreation staff.

Settle in with a plan

A new-resident checklist.

  1. Identify your association. Save the full name, board or manager contact, and after-hours reporting procedure.
  2. Confirm access arrangements. Ask UCO about gate passes and barcodes and WPRF about recreation IDs.
  3. Learn everyday services. Check bus schedules, laundry, trash and recycling, and television arrangements.
  4. Read your building’s rules. Ask about parking, guests, pets, noise, renovations, and shared areas.
  5. Prepare for emergencies. Keep your exact address handy, make a hurricane plan, and save key contacts.
  6. Find something to enjoy. Ask about current activities, classes, clubs, and volunteer opportunities.

Get informed. Get comfortable. Get connected.

For associations and helpful neighbors

Make the welcome specific to the building.

Share these packets alongside current association contacts, rules, emergency procedures, parking instructions, and service information. Explain which office handles each question.

Ask a new resident whether a printed copy would be useful. For a digital copy, show them how to open and enlarge the PDF and find the official source for updates.

For immediate police, fire, or medical assistance, call 911. A welcome packet or community office is not emergency dispatch.
